Who we are
Our Board of Trustees and staff are committed to maintaining the WI’s core values and shaping the organisation for generations of women to come.
The NFWI Board of Trustees is a panel of members who are democratically elected every two years to lead the organisation as a whole.
Around 40 people currently work for the NFWI, headed by nine members of senior staff. The staff team is led by the NFWI Chief Executive, Melissa Green.
Board of Trustees:
- Jeryl Stone (NFWI Chair)
- Tracy Baker (Honorary Treasurer)
- Chrissie Booth (Chair of Public Affairs) Chrissie was elected to the NFWI Board in 2019. She is currently the Chair of the Public Affairs Committee.
- Pam Beedan (NFWI Vice Chair) Pam was elected NFWI Vice Chair in 2025 and re-elected in 2026. Pam is also Vice Chair of WI Enterprises Ltd.
- Ann Mitchell (NFWI Vice Chair) Ann Mitchell joined the NFWI Board in November 2022 and was elected NFWI Vice Chair in May 2026.
- Jill Rundle (Chair of the Federations of Wales Committee)
- Erika Brichta (NFWI Trustee) Erika was elected as an NFWI Trustee in June 2025. She is also a past Chair of the West Sussex Federation.
- Natasha Huckle (Chair of Denman Trust Board) She is currently the Chair of the Denman Trust Board.
- Helen Kestle (NFWI Trustee) Helen was elected as an NFWI Trustee in June 2025.

- Heather Stoney (Chair of Education Committee). Heather was elected as an NFWI Trustee in June 2025. She is the current Chair of the Education Committee.
