Helen was elected as an NFWI Trustee in June 2025. Helen joined the WI in 2010 and has held a myriad of roles at WI and federation level, including WI Adviser and Federation Chair.

Helen has enjoyed a creative career including graphic design, editorial assistant, researcher and speechwriter. She is also experienced in media, boasting a monthly slot on CHAOS Radio, a local community radio station (Cornwall), while in the role of Federation Chair. In her role as Federation Chair, she was also interviewed by BBC Radio Cornwall on many occasions. Helen initiated the Cornwall Federation podcast, interviewing members for each episode.

Helen loves to read, travel, create spreadsheets for any event/occasion, lounge on the beach on sunny days and spend time being entertained by Harry, her delightful cat.
