Come and see us at the Royal Welsh Show and National Eisteddfod

We will be at the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd (20-23 July) and Eisteddod y Garreg Las (1-8 August). If you are planning to attend these events, don’t forget to visit the WI stands.

Royal Welsh Show, Llanelwedd, Powys: 20-23 July

Our stand at the Royal Welsh Show will be hosted by Powys Brecknock Federation.

The WI exhibit on the theme “The Great Forest of Brecknock”, which was established by Bernard de Neumarch around 1100AD, will feature examples of trees that would have been planted at that time and Powys-Brecknock Federation will also provide craft demonstrations each day linked to the theme.

Members will be on hand to welcome visitors to the show and provide information on the display as well as general information on the WI and campaigns. Find out more about the Royal Welsh Show.

Eisteddfod y Garreg Las: 1-8 August

The 2026 Eisteddfod will be held in Llantwd, north Pembrokeshire. Our stand will be located on the Maes and hosted by Pembrokeshire Federation. The stand will be promoting the WI and the current campaigns such as Thinking Differently: Autistic and ADHD Women and Girls and No More Violence Against Women.

Pembrokeshire Federation will be displaying a St David’s Day quilt. Daily demonstrations will be taking place and there will be items on sale such as knitted scarves and a calendar portraying landmarks in Pembrokeshire. Find out more about the Eisteddfod.
