Our Campaigns
Our campaigns tackle issues that matter to women in their communities. From equal pay to climate change, mental health and violence against women, over the past 100 years we have embraced a diverse set of challenges. The WI has brought about real change - and we are just getting started. You will be able to find resources on each campaign below.
Thinking Differently: Autistic and ADHD Women & Girls
Our campaign seeks to raise awareness of Autism and ADHD in women and girls and to take action to improve the diagnosis process.

No More Violence against Women
We are raising awareness and taking action to end the scourge of violence against women.
For the year ending March 2019, an estimated 1.6 million women across the UK experienced violence, including domestic violence, rape, forced marriage, sexual exploitation and other forms of abuse and harassment. Launched in 2019, our No More Violence against Women campaign encourages WI members to take action to end the scourge of violence against women.
The WI has been campaigning to bring an end to violence against women and girls. Every year, as part of the UN’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, WI members get involved to show their solidarity and support to survivors and to remember those we have lost.

See the Signs - Ovarian Cancer
Our campaign seeks to raise awareness of the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer to help ensure that more women are diagnosed earlier.

5 Minutes that Matter
Our campaign seeks to raise awareness of the importance of attending routine cervical screenings, and support more women to make an informed decision about whether or not to take up their invitations. It is estimated that the test currently prevents 70% of cervical cancer deaths. However, this figure could be 83% if all eligible women attended. Cervical screening is a choice, and attendance is currently at a 21-year low.
