Mulled Cider
Ingredients
- 1.2 Litres Cider
- 75g Soft Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 level tsp Allspice (whole)
- 1 tsp Cloves (whole)
- Stick of Cinnamon
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- Orange Peel
Method
Combine the sugar, salt and cider.
Tie the spices in a piece of muslin and add to the cider.
Bring slowly to the boil and then hold at the simmering point for 20 mins.
Strain the drink to remove the spices and serve hot with strips of orange peel.
