During LGBT+ History Month (February), the NFWI partnered with WEN (Women's Equality Network) Wales to hold a free virtual event on the topic 'LGBT+ Life in Wales and England: Past, Present, and Future'.
Guests included Hannah Blythyn MS, Deputy Minister for Social Partnership, author and historian Norena Shopland, Cate Hopkins, Writer and Director of the short film Cake and Birchgrove WI member, and campaigner and workplace inclusivity consultant Jennifer Charles. Director of Stonewall Cymru Davinia Green chaired the session. There were plenty of interesting questions from WI members.
