WI Life feature

Look out for the Autumn inspired feature in this month's WI Life Magazine.  Craft and Cookery Committees have worked together and we have come up with all sorts of ideas of what to do with pumpkins!

Something Old - Something New

Competition Winners

It was amazing to see what can be created from an old jumper!  We had 59 entries and all were so creative.  Here are the final three.  The projects will be on the Moodle to download by the end of September.

This is a fun project easy project.   You can personalise everything from wooden knives and forks to coasters and bread boards and all you need is a wood burning tool.   Enjoy!

Make a Pom Pom today!

There are some amazing new pom pom makers that can really speed up your pom pom making.  This is a fast and fun way of using up lots of spare wool and there is nothing happier than a lovely bright coloured pom pom!  (I make strings of them to hang up - very pleasing!)

Corgis are taking over the NFWI Unit!

I created these fun stuffed corgis as a last minute addition to the Craft Committee stand at the AM in Brighton.  They went down really well and are great fun to make.

Cuthbert has been dressing up again!

Well Cuthbert has heard that it is Beatrix Potter's 150th celebratory year this year and off he went to rummage through his dressing up box and look what he has found!  Plus carrot!  I think he is hoping to be invited to a party at some point this year!
