Welcome to the WI's food ideas for the coming week. This page is updated regularly to bring you ideas using fresh seasonal British produce. Recipes on our site include new contemporary dishes as well as family favorites making use of the WI's huge wealth of food talents gained over more than 90 years. Some recipes are quickly made whereas others will take a bit more time and skill. There is something for everybody here!

This week we continue to celebrate  National Vegetarian Week with a versatile recipe making the best of English Asparagus, at their best and perfect for sunny days! The english asparagus season is short so make the most of it; but do ensure you buy English; it is far tastier than asparagus which has been flown half way round the world.
