GRILLED NECTARINES

A sweet and spicy finish to a  meal.
Ingredients:

4 ripe firm nectarines, washed

25g/1oz butter, melted

45ml/3tbsp runny clear honey

grated zest and juice of a lime

5ml/1tsp ground cinnamon

Method:

  1. Cut nectarines in half and carefully remove the stone.
  2. Place cut side down in roasting dish.
    Mix together the butter, honey, lime zest and juice and cinnamon.
  3. Brush over the nectarines.
  4. Grill under preheated grill for 5-8 mins until browned.
  5. Serve immediately with the juices and whipped cream.
