The National Federation of Women's Institutes is launching a nationwide environment scheme for WI members and their local communities: Projects for a Healthy Planet at Mary Sumner House, London SW1 on 27 March from 10am to 5pm. Key speakers such as climate change campaigner, journalist and author of High Tide, Mark Lynas and the Minister for Climate Change and the Environment, Elliot Morley, MP as well as Chief Executive of Good Energy, Juliet Davenport will address the WI delegation on environment issues.delegate at 90@90 conference


Projects for a Healthy Planet include a number of practical sustainability solutions for WI members, covering a wide range of topics including car use, household energy consumption, shopping in local food stores, composting and household waste.
