Welcome to the Worcestershire Federation

Welcome to the website for Worcestershire Federation. The Worcestershire Federation was formed in 1918 and is celebrating 90 years in 2008.  Worcestershire has over 130 institutes, with a membership of around 4,000.  We have WIs all over the county, from tiny villages, deep in the countryside, to the newest WIs at County Hall in Worcester and in Warndon.Julia Roberts, Chairman

The WI is an excellent way to become more involved in your local community and to make new friends.  The Federation organises many events, talks, day schools, visits and activities which appeal to as wide a cross section of members as possible.  It is all part of the WI ethos, which is to offer opportunities for enjoyable learning for life.

We are also very fortunate to be in striking distance of Denman College in Oxfordshire, the jewel in the WI crown, where members are able to take full advantage of residential courses in beautiful surroundings.
