| We have WIs in the large urban areas of Poole and Bournemouth and many small rural institutes in the hamlets and farming communities of the rural county; all these WIs have the same characteristics, in that they are friendly and welcoming, full of very talented women and are always happy to welcome visitors to their meetings whether you are here on holiday or live here.
The Federation County House is situated in Dorchester, it is open to members of the public as well as WI members for information, sale of books, gifts and cards and a friendly chat if you have a few moments to spare in a busy schedule.
The Federation Board of Trustees, Subcommittees and staff aim to provide members with a stimulating programme of talks, learning opportunities and social and cultural events as well as support and guidance in the running of their own activities.
