The islands of Guernsey are part of the Channel Islands and lie in the Bay of St. Malo a few miles from the French coasts of Normandy and Brittany. They are well known for their abundant bird life, wonderful coast line and excellent food.

There are just under 500 members in the Federation spread across 13 Institutes in Guernsey and one in Alderney. Each Institute has its own identity and all are very active. All offer a warm welcome.

The Federation Sub-committees hold many varied activities and classes so there is always something for everyone. We have a good relationship with the local media, participate in many Island events and are actively represented in the community.

The WI offers opportinities to all women of all ages in all walks of life to make new and lasting friendships, learn new skills, help others and above all enjoy themselves.

If you are visiting Guernsey or Alderney or have recently come to live here you will be very welcome to attend a meeting or a Federation event. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
