Welcome to the Isle of Ely Federation

The Isle of Ely Federation is small but beautiful! Set in the fens and waterways of Eastern England, we have WIs in small villages, market towns and in the city of Ely itself. They range from Tydd St Giles in the north to Marshland St James and Prickwillow in the east, Stretham and Haddenham in the south and Whittlesey and Whittlesey Ladysmith in the west.Rosemary Green - Chairman

We offer a range of activities including an annual music evening, whist lunches, scrabble, darts, dominoes, quiz evenings, town walks, outings and short break holidays. Once every two years we take 50 members to spend the weekend at Denman College, the WI’s own adult learning centre in Oxfordshire.

The WIs of Ely, March, Wisbech Whittlesey and Witchford are visited by our twice yearly Council Meetings, when members can catch up on federation news, buy goods from our WI country market and listen to a good speaker.
