Members are always welcome to pop in and make themselves a cup of tea or coffee and use our reading room to browse through our small reference library.

Our sub-committees organise events ranging from quizzes and darts to talks on drug abuse and alternative therapies and from rambles and farm visits within our own county to outings to theatres and other attractions.

We organise classes and competitions in crafts and the arts, and at the Shrewsbury Flower Show, we have classes - competitive - for WIs and for individual members.

Every other year we take Denman College for a weekend and fill it with Shropshire members for two days of education, fun and friendship - just what the WI is all about.
