| Aleathia moved to Norwich in l973 to train as a chartered accountant. After qualifying, she was employed in various accountancy firms before starting her own practice in l996 working mainly with charitable organisations. She also lectures on professional accountancy courses.
She joined The Beck WI in l994, and is its serving President. In Norfolk Federation she was a WI Adviser, chaired the Sales & Marketing Sub-committee and served as Treasurer and Chairman. She has been a member of the NFWI Board of Trustees since 2005 and is currently Honorary Treasure and Chair of the Finance Commitee.
Aleathia has a special interest in education and training and believes that all members should benefit from the range of opportunities offered by the WI – both at Denman College and a local level.
Her hobbies include music, the theatre and croquet.
