Wine Glass Charms

Make a fun charm to identify your wine glass.

The Materials:

  • One earring hoop
  • A triangle of fabric, 2cm wide and about 5 cm long
  • A short piece of plain wire with a small loop at one end
  • About 4" of decorative wire
  • A few sequins and beads
  • Some fluffy wool to trim
  • PVA adhesive

First Step

Glue the wrong side of the fabric using PVA  (picture on the right)First Step

Second Step

Place the plain wire at the wide end with the loop close to the edge.Second Step

Third Step

Fold over the long end of the triangle and press firmly to stickThird Step

Fourth Step

Bend the straight end of the wire up towards the looped endFourth Step

Fifth Step

Roll the fabric around the wire, pressing firmlyFifth Step

Sixth Step

The bead is made. Press and roll in between fingers to shapeSixth Step
Seventh Step
Wind a piece of interesting wool around the beadSeventh Step

Eighth Step

Fix a bead or sequin to each end of the coloured wire. Wind the coloured wire around the bead to hold the wool in place. Twist ends together to fixEighth Step

Ninth Step

Hook the bead onto the loopNinth Step

Finished

Now you're done, Hang your charm on wine glass stem.Finished
