Council Meetings 2008
In our 90th year, we had two council meetings. On Saturday, 15 March, at our new venue, The All Nations Centre, we conducted the usual business of the Federation and presented some trophies at the Spring Council Meeting. On Wednesday, 29 October, our Autumn Council Meeting took place at Uppingham School in Rutland. Wild About Flowers, 13/14 September - the big exhibition at Beaumanor Hall organised by Executive Committee and the Wild Flower Survey Committee. On Wednesday 19, Tuesday 25 & Wednesday 26 November, Leisure Activities Committee invited members to their 90th Birthday Tea Parties, in the luxurious surroundings of Kilworth House Hotel, North Kilworth.
