Introduction

Research

The new economics foundation (nef) carried out a community survey to look at how local residents shop and their views on local food. Spar also carried out a retailer survey to asses individual shops' current levels of local sourcing and ways to increase it. Both these surveys can be used as templates.

Community Guide

This community guide provides groups and individuals with a range of initiatives to raise awareness and promote local food sourcing in schools, parishes, local shops and the wider community. These documents are meant to be used as templates and examples; adaptable to your local community needs.
