NEW WI AT WORKSOP 

WELCOME TO WORKSOP WONDERS WI   They formed at their meeting in January.

 Their  meetings will be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm at THE CROSSING, Newcastle Street. S80 2AT   Come along and join them

As you may know, the NFWI is collecting signatures for the Love your Libraries petition as part of the campaign launched following the AGM. They are calling on the Government to honour its commitment to act as a champion of the library service, and hope to gain collect 100,000 signatures and trigger a debate in Parliament.

They have just launched an online version of the petition, on the Government's new e-petitions website, http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/1269, so please do go to the link below and sign, and pass on to friends and family.

We are sorry but the event 'Kindly leave the Stage' has been cancelled due to a lack of interest.

Hawton & District WI won the Elizabeth Bell Trophy in coming first in the WHY TRI THE WI CHALLENGE.

They  received the trophy at the AGM in Liverpool.
