UPDATE OF SITUATION at 25th February 2010:

There are 3 (three) single bedrooms remaining
There are 2 (two) spaces on the Dance to 60's Music course
There are 4 (four) spaces on the Watercolour Landscapes course
There are a few seats still available on the coach

FEDERATION CALENDAR 2011 - FARMING LIFE IN LEICESTERSHIRE & RUTLAND
The deadline for photographs has closed, but if you have a really good farmhouse recipe that you would like to pass on for the back of the calendar pages, please submit it to WI House, by Thursday 25th February 2010.

UNSOLICITED MAILINGS
Some WI Treasurers may have received an unsolicited mailshot letter, personally addressed to them, from a company called D H Business Support.  Please be assured that your contact details have NOT been garnered from the MCS.  Rather, this company has picked the details up from the Charities Commission listings where (if your WI has hitherto been registered individually as a Charity) your contact details may be available.  Of course, you may also ignore the letter if you’ve had one, since it is just a mailshot looking for new business, unless you wish to contact them to request that they take you off their mailing
list.

NEW WI FORMED IN ASHBY DE LA ZOUCH
The venue is to be the Chamber,  Legion House, South St LE65 1BQ,  for those of you who are unsure where this is, it is the Old British Legion Building, and is just a little further up the road than the car park and on the opposite side of the Road, set back slightly.  There should be ample parking at the venue for our members, the room is on the first floor but there is lift access for those needing this.  The meetings will be at 7.30pm on the 3rd Wednesday in the month.
