Travelling by public transport (via Oxford) Number 31 bus to Marcham (destination will be shown as Wantage) leaves Oxford at St Aldates (opposite the Post Office) at 10, 15 and 45 minutes past the hour up to 6pm. St Aldates is about a 15-minute walk from the coach station. There is a bus service from the railway station to St Aldates/City Centre. Once on the 31 or 31x, ask for the Marcham Post Office stop which is about a five-minute walk from the College.
Travelling by public transport (via Didcot) Didcot Parkway train station is 10 miles from the College. A number of trains from Paddington, and some from Waterloo as well as from other parts of the country, stop at Didcot Parkway. There is no public transport from Didcot to Marcham. Taxis cost about £16 for a single journey.
Students travelling by public transport - The College operates a free taxi collection service from Oxford Railway Station, Didcot Railway Station or Gloucester Green Coach Station in Oxford. It is also available for your return journey.
Once you have booked your course you can book a place in the College’s free taxi, simply complete the relevant section on the Travel and Personal Information form. The College will not confirm arrangements separately. The College cannot guarantee a place in a taxi unless the form is received at least 10 days before the course.

Station pick up points – Look for Su’s Taxis
Oxford Railway Station: Leave from platform one. Turn left but do not go down the steps. The meeting point is at the pedestrian entrance to the short stay car park.
Didcot Parkway Railway Station: Leave by the front entrance to the station. The meeting point is outside the main entrance.
Oxford Coach Station: Take the left exit from the station into Chain Alley and turn right then left at Worcester Street. The meeting point is at Worcester Street car park near the ticket machine. |
