The role of WI Enterprises WI Enterprises Limited (WIE) is the trading arm of the National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI). WIE was formed to raise funds for the NFWI to help finance its aims and objectives. The company is expected to generate a considerable profit each year in excess of £500,000 through its various commercial activities. In addition, WIE pays £150,000 in overheads to the NFWI each year for use of offices and facilities at 104 New Kings Road. As a limited company, WIE has its own Board of Directors, comprising members of the NFWI Board of Trustees (including the NFWI Chair and Treasurer) and external advisers.
