WI Advisers' training

WI Advisers are selected by their federation and trained by the NFWI. Training focuses on leadership skills including four modules: personal presentation skills, all about the WI (history, policy, structure), money matters and WI activities.

Training includes an OCN Accreditation in Leadership Skills at Level 3 with one credit for each successfully completed module. The next courses take place:

WI Advisers' Forums

All WI Advisers must attend a forum every five years, unless there are exceptional circumstances or if they fall into the following categories:

  • they are Membership Chairmen (providing they attend a Membership Chairmen's workshop during their term of office)
  • they are a member of the NFWI Board of Trustees
  • they are a NFWI National Trainer.

Three courses are held each year which cover current policy and training issues, and allow time for WI Advisers to exchange ideas. The next courses take place:
