Trustee training
Over the past few years many federations have held training days for their Trustees. These training days are tutored by NFWI National Trainers and have been very popular. The morning includes a basic recapping of the Federation Trustee responsibilities and the afternoon can be tailored to your  individual needs.

We require a minimum of eight participants and a maximum of 18; twelve is optimum. Suggested topics include: chairmanship skills, committee skills, forward planning, team building, communication and promotion, federation finance and dealing with difficult situations.

Free training opportunities
We have recently updated the Federation Trustees' Manual, which you can buy in our online shop. To accompany the new manual, we are offering FREE Trustee Training to federations, to be taken by the end of March 2010.  We would particularly welcome applications from federations who have not received the training in the past three years.

Please note that federations are responsible for: the cost of their own students' travel; possible photocopying costs; overnight hospitality for the trainer, if required; and the hire of any venue, if necessary.
