The Margaret Dunell Evening

This very enjoyable event took place at the end of October.

Mrs Norma Thomas, Chairman of Craft and Art  introduced and welcomed Mrs Gladys Dunell to the event.

We were very lucky to have Mr Giles Bois to speak about Jersey bonnets with slides He gave an excellent talk and members learnt about all types of bonnets including Jersey bonnets.

Also on display was a selection of CI Jewellery.Next we came to the Awards:Mrs Anita West won the Margaret Dunell Award to produce a Hat and Scarf in any medium.

The Molly Beadle Award was won by Pauline Perchard whilst Ann Newton won the Novice In the Inter Counties Competition 1st Pat Bisson 2nd Joint Anne Winder/Mary Richards 3rs Yolande Whitley.

Finally Mrs Dunell awarded the Margaret Dunell trophy to Mrs Anita West
