Programme competition

If you think your WI produces an informative, eye-catching and appealing programme, then this new competition is for you!

Every organization needs to sell itself and with so much competition, programmes are an essential part of a WI's recruitment kit.  If prospective members receive a programme that is lively, vibrant and full of interesting information, as well as showing a great and varied programme of events, they are more likely to join the WI.  Programmes offer a simple and effective form of advertising and promotion that can bring in new members and make sure those who are already members, continue to be.

The NFWI is inviting WIs to submit their programme for 2010 to be judged in a national competition.  The programme can be produced in any medium size and style which may be computer, typewritten or hand generated but the submitted programme MUST BE THE WI's ACTUAL PROGRAMME FOR 2010.  No distinction will be made between WIs which start their year in January or March.

Prizes will be in the form of a cheque for ...

1st - £100, 2nd - £75 and 3rd - £50

WIs wishing to enter must send three copies of their programme to their Federation Secretary no later than the date publicized by the federation.  Federations are then required to judge and chose up to two entries to go forward for judging by national.

A copy of the Schedule, Federation Entry Form and WI Entry Form are all available to download.  Alternatively, please contact Helen Neal at the NFWI Unit for a hard copy.
