| Patricia was a Home Economics and Needlework teacher before becoming head of department in schools in Winchester and Northampton. From 1984-1998 she ran her own catering business.
Patricia was a member of Lesbury WI, where she was Secretary for two years, and then became a member of Alnmouth WI in 2002, where she is a past Treasurer. She has been on the Northumberland Federation Executive Committee since 2004 and is currently Treasurer and Denman College representative. Patricia is interested in all crafts and cookery and qualified as a cookery judge in 2005. She does a large number of cookery demonstrations around the county.
Patricia was elected to the NFWI Board of Trustees in 2009 and currently sits on the Finance and Education Committees.
In her spare time Patricia enjoys gardening and reading and is also Vice Chairman of the parish council.
