| Pauline Bibby worked as a physics teacher and director of studies in a variety of schools and colleges around the country and then went on to own and manage a country house hotel in Cumbria. She is now a part time education consultant and garden designer.
She joined Ireby WI in 1995 and was President for 10 years. She was a member of the Executive Committee of Cumbria-Cumberland Federation from 2000-2008 and sat on Public Affairs, Arts and Crafts and Finance Committees and was Science representative. Latterly, she was also Federation Vice-Chairman.
