3 February 2012 Needlepoint Workshop
10am-2pm. WI House. An opportunity to learn a new skill in the art of counted thread embroidery in which wool, cotton or silk is stitched through open weave canvas. Take home your delightful and handmade pincushion.
7 February 2010 Moodling for beginners
10.30 to 3.30pm. WI House. A drop in day with experts and laptops on hand - or bring your own laptop
10 February 2012 Gold Work with a twist
10am - 1pm WI House. Try your hand at making chunky metallic twisted cord embellished with traditional gold work threads. No previous experience of gold work necessary
16 February 2012 Spring County Lunch
12 noon Boddington Village Hall. Speaker Jane Robison aythor of 'A Force to be Reckoned With'. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
17 February 2012 Decoupage
10am-1pm. WI House. Learn how to make eye catching 3D cards and pictures. No experience necessary
24 February 2012 Watercolours for beginners
10am-1pm WI House. An opportunity to pick up that paintbrush and learn to paint with watercolours.

Learn more about Uganda's Acholi women whilst learning to make the beads they produce.

28 March 2012 Explore Pepys London
Coach trip to London for a 3 mile self guided walk where you will be able to see, a haunted street, a bar of gold a full sized Pirate trip and much more. You will also get a chance to visit: the Museum of London. The Guildhall, the Bank of England and many other places of interest.
17 April 2012 Day visit to Kings Lynn and Oxburgh Hall [National Trust], Norfolk
Kings Lynn a town dating back to mediaeval times boasts many interesting features including England's only surviving Hanseatic Warehouse, a C12 church and chequered-fronted Trinity Guildhall to name but a few places of interest. Followed by the moated manor House Oxburgh Hall with a wealth of historical interest.

Bugs beware Pippa Greenwood is in town. Spinney Theatre
20 - 23 May 2012 4 day visit at Floriade at Venlo Holland
How about a short break for 2012? This major floral and horticultural event is held only once a decade. Yes that's right just once every 10 years! It promises a most beautiful and interesting display of individually themed gardens from all over the world.
