KILNER JAR SPARES ARE NOW AVAILABLE
A Surrey company is now providing a spare parts service for old screw-top Kilner preserving jars, via the post or the internet.  Owners can now obtain rubber sealing rings and sealing lids and continue to preserve fruit and vegetables in the traditional way using reusable glass containers.

Traditional Kilner jars were made in varoius types between 1919 and the mid 1980s, and were the normal way of preserving fruit and vegetables before home freezing bcame popular.
