In 2008, WI members were invited to design and produce a leaflet detailing their favourite, local walk.  Walks could be themed e.g. seasonal or of a specific nature trail but must have included information on local heritage, key sights, refreshment venues and any other key information relating to the walk.

As always, WI members entered the competition with great enthusiasm and produced some outstanding leaflets! After a hard day judging, the winners were eventually chosen ...

1st Place - Martin WI, Shropshire

3rd Place - Woolpit WI, Suffolk West

Highly Commended - Eardisley WI, Herefordshire

Commended - Bodicote WI, Oxfordshire and Elm Tree & Fairfield WI, Teesside

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who came through for national judging. The Judges reported that it had been very difficult to select a winner from the vast range of interesting, high-quality and skillfully-produced entries.
