Ruth Bond (our new National Chair) will talk to us about the future of the WI, a subject of vital importance as we head towards 100 years of the WI in 2015.
Richard Benyon (local MP and Shadow Minister for Environment, Fisheries and Wildlife) will tell us about the plight of the honey bee, the subject of last year's massively well supported Resolution. In addition, you will learn more about what is happening within the WI in Berkshire and beyond. Buy your ticket now!

County Show WI Tent sub-committee
BLUEBELL WALK
Monday 26th April 2010
Join us for a stroll through the bluebells at Paices Hill Country Park, Aldermaston, and then for Afternoon Tea at Heath End Village Hall. We will be led through the woods starting at 1.30pm and tea will be served from 3.00pm. There are plenty of pubs nearby for lunch first, or you can bring a picnic to eat on the lawns overlooking the fishing lakes. Stout shoes or wellies are probably advisable, there is one short, sharp slope at the beginning and the rest is fairly gentle.
