Stephen Hackett - Principal

Stephen Hackett - Principal Denman College
Stephen Hackett		Stephen has degrees in Philosophy & Theology and Literary Critical Theory from Oxford and Nottingham Universities. Before joining Denman College, he was a lecturer teaching literature and cultural studies in further and adult education. Later he joined Southern Arts in Winchester and subsequently worked for the Arts Council. He was also Director of Development at Sarum College, Salisbury.
As well as being Principal of Denman, Stephen is Vice-chair of the Adult Residential Colleges’ Association, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. His outside interests include organic gardening, bird-watching, walking, cricket and cookery.
