Gardening with Schools

This project was established by us to give children an opportunity to gain practical experience of creating vegetable and wildlife areas and to take part in activities such as planting and garden maintenance.

Case studies booklet

A case studies booklet featuring thirty-two of the gardens developed has been produced and hopefully this will inspire many more schools and community groups to develop gardens for the benefit of people’s health and wellbeing, as a place for children to learn and play and as a safe habitat for wildlife.

The booklet can be downloaded from the link on the right of this page. To receive a hard copy of the booklet please send an A4 SAE (78p) to NFWI-Wales, 19 Cathedral Road, Cardiff CF11 9HA.
