Events coming up


GFWI organises all sorts of events throughout the year. We have activities and courses, outings and holidays, meetings and conferences to name but a few. If you want any more information on any event listed then please contact WI House. Members can also look at the latest edition of Gloucestershire County News or contact their WI secretary for more information. 

BBC Radio Gloucestershire have a weekly slot with a WI from around the county on a Thursday afternoon at 2.40pm. Listen out for some local news!

Painting in Tetbury 31 August
Two members of Tetbury Art Society will be on hand ot help so bring your own material, any medium and have ago!

Silence In Court 17 September
Visit one of the county's magistrates courts. A magistrate will accompany the group to explain procedures and give a background to the judicial system.

New Age Kurling 17 September
Come and try New Age Kurling - no ice! Suitable for all ages, the fit and not so fit - play standing, sitting or kneeling. Anyone can do it!

Beading - Peyote Plus 1 October An opportunity to learn or to practice basic peyote stitch or to learn how to incorporate some daisies in a peyote band.

 County Walk at Duntisbourne Abbots 2 October 2, 4 and 6 mile guided walks in and around Duntisbourne Abbots, north of Cirencester. Meet at the village hall at 10.15am for a 10.30am start and return for a ploughmans lunch.
