Why have you chosen to print our names and addresses directly on to WI Life’s plastic wrapper, which cannot be shredded?

Currently, WI Life is delivered polywrapped in biodegradable plastic and, in order to avoid the additional environmental impact of using paper labels or an extra A4 sheet to carry the address, we opted for the use of laser printing direct onto the wrapping. We realise some members have indicated they do not like to dispose of the wrapping as it bears their address details, but it can be effectively defaced using a ball point pen before being disposed of. However, we constantly review all aspects of the magazine and how it is produced on a regular basis.
