Why is WI Life so biased towards southern federations? Is it because they’re easier to get to from your London HQ?

There is a common misconception that we ignore the happenings of WI events and members from northern federations, but this is certainly not the case. There is no north / south divide in WI Life and great care is taken to ensure an even geographical spread of features from federations throughout the year. In 2007, WI Life visited and included major features on WI projects or members from Humberside, East Yorkshire, Cheshire, Isle of Man, North Yorkshire East, Cumbria-Cumberland, Northumberland, North Yorkshire West, County Durham and Clwyd-Flint. Add to that visits to Cornwall, Lincolnshire South, Derbyshire, Ceredigion, Worcestershire and many more and wherever you are, if the subject matter’s right we will cover it.
