TRAVEL DATES FOR 2012
HEBRIDEAN ODYSSEY - 8 DAY HOLIDAY - 24 MAY 2012
Travel north to Scotland and the beautiful islands of the Outer Hebrides.
After spending the first night at a hotel in the Glasgow area we will travel to Oban in time to catch the afternoon ferry to the unspoilt island of Barra (as recently seen on TV). There will be a full day to rest before “island hopping”, by causeways and ferries, to visit 6 more islands. Leaving Barra we cross to Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Harris and finally on to Lewis and our hotel in Stornoway. There will be a day of sight seeing with a local guide, to enjoy the history and varied scenery of this island.
The journey home will start with a ferry crossing to Ullapool and our first over night stop at Nethybridge and the second night will be in the Lake District.
