Stephanie Fort - NFWI Honorary Treasurer and Chair of Finance Committee

Stephanie is Yorkshire born and bred. After leaving school and working in banking she married a farmer and over the years has helped on the family farm while bringing up four children.

She is currently a member of Bolton Abbey WI and was previously a member of Lothersdale WI. Stephanie is a past Chairman of North Yorkshire West Federation, has sat on various committees and has been a WI Adviser for 25 years.

Stephanie has been an NFWI Board of Trustees member since 2007 and is the NFWI Honorary Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the General and National Meetings committee. She also sits on the WIE Board and is part of the WI Life Editorial Board.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, flower arranging and crafts, especially cross-stitch and blackwork embroidery – reputedly, she reports, brought to this country by Catherine of Aragon.
