Janice Langley - NFWI Vice-Chair and Chair of Membership Committee

Janice qualified as a nurse in County Durham and moved to Sussex on marriage. While her three children were growing up she trained as a marriage guidance counsellor and, later, a psycho-sexual therapist. In 1990 she led a team working in a Romanian orphanage.
She joined Shoreham Greenways WI in 1970, moved to Washington WI in 1983 and became President. In West Sussex Federation she chaired committees, was ACWW representative and WI Adviser, and is involved in the international development project, Women Reaching Women.
Janice was co-opted on to the NFWI Board in 2002. She is NFWI Vice-Chair and Chair of the Membership Committee and has chaired the WI Enterprises and WI Life Editorial Boards. As an Officer Janice also sits on the Finance and General & National Meetings committees. She also sits (ex officio) on the Training Committee. In addition, Janice is a WIE Board member.
Her interests include cookery, computers and DIY.
