Welcome to the National Federation of Women's Institutes (NFWI), the largest voluntary organisation for women in the UK, with 205,000 members in England, Wales and the Islands.

We play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Haiti Emergency Appeal
A devastating earthquake has struck Haiti, killing thousands and affecting many more. The NFWI expresses profound sympathy to those affected. If you would like to contribute to relief efforts, please note that under the WI constitution you may do so as individuals, but not a WI or federation.
