FEDERATION WEEKEND 2008
72 Leicestershire/Rutland members spent a fabulous weekend at Denman in August when, for once, the weather was very kind to one and all.  Below are just a few photographs of a couple of the courses - watch this space for more pictures and reports of how the weekend went.

DENMAN TOOTSIES!
Tootsie Doll Course at Denman
Four members of Barkby & Beeby WI spent a very enjoyable, busy and informative week at Denman College at the beginning of June.  One member joined the Manor House & Classic Piles course (Architecture) the other three each made a doll.  The Tutor was Ray Slater and the title of the course 'Tootsie - cloth doll'. 

The photo shows all the 'Tootsies' made by the 8 students on the course.  The 3 belonging to Barkby & Beeby members are on the left of the table.  Other members of the group were from Derbyshire, Hampshire and West Kent.
