A very warm welcome to Clwyd-Denbigh Federation of Women's Institutes.

The area we cover includes coastline, towns and valleys, with some wonderful places to visit, such as Colwyn Bay Zoo, Bodnant Gardens, Erddig House and Gardens, the renowned Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the many castles dotted about the countryside.

Our federation dates back to 1915 with our first WI, Trefnant, formed shortly after the first WI in Anglesey in the same year. We have had great pleasure in opening our newest one in Clawddnewydd in 2006.

All our members enjoy a wide variety of classes and pastimes, including arts and crafts, sports, science and much more, arranged by our sub-committees. These classes build on the many talents our members already have and are filled with fun and friendship.

We have a Welsh meeting every year together with a Spring Annual Meeting and an Autumn Social Meeting.
