EVENTS FOR 2009

Surrey Federation have always been pleased to welcome friends and family to many of their events.

To start off  the New Year  we will be holding a Valentine's Tea Dance on Tuesday 17 February at Betchworth Village Hall. Ray Spiller will be bringing his records of Musical Charts from 1952 to date with music, laughter and a little dancing. Tea with sandwiches and cakes will be served in the interval. A further St. David's Day Tea Dance will be held on Tuesday 3rd March. Cost £7.50 for members and £8 for non-members.

 
On Monday February 23 there will be a Ploughman's Lunch to support Fairtrade. Taking place at East Horsley Village Hall from 10am to 1pm. the speaker will be Valerie Stevens the South West ACWW representative. The cost to include lunch and refreshments is £7.50.

 Auditions for new speakers for the Year Book will take place at White Hart Barn, Godstone on 25 February. There are morning and afternoon sessions and the cost is £4.50 per session to include tea/coffee and biscuits. An opportunity for members to have their say about the type of subjects that are currently of interest.

Banner Bonanza is the name of the drop-in craft day at Bookham Barn Hall on 25 March. As well as the display of banners and craft demonstrations there will also be a cushion competition. A chance for everyone to see what was done in the past and what craft is being done now. Entry tickets £3.

All of our hall venues have disabled access and toilets, some have hearing loops.
