Welcome to the Northamptonshire Federation

We have 135 WIs situated right across the County – from Newton Bromswold in the east to Staverton in the west, and from Easton and Collyweston in the north right down to Aynho in the south. All our WIs are refreshingly different – some as small as 8 members, others with over 50; some are in towns, some in villages, some young and trendy and others more traditional.  We are sure that there is one to suit everyone and that each will offer a warm and friendly welcome to new members.Carolyn Libby Chairman
As a Federation we strive to offer our members a very varied programme of events to cover a wide range of sporting, cultural, craft and educational opportunities, as well as an interesting travel agenda and a chance to meet members from other WIs.  Many of our events are open to the friends and families of members. In addition we are fortunate to have Denman College and all that it offers within easy reach.WIs are proud to be part of a dynamic national organisation. 
We believe that our strength comes from working together, both locally and nationally, to improve the quality of our lives and the health of our communities, and to do this whilst keeping the warmth, fun and friendship that is so important to the WI.
